Canada, get ready: a few "Old Friends" are heading your way.
Simon & Garfunkel have announced a string of arena dates that will take them to the northern parts of North America, kicking off in Vancouver on April 29.
Other Canadian stops include Edmonton (May 1), Calgary (May 2), Saskatoon (May 4), Winnipeg (May 5), Toronto (May 12), Ottawa (May 14) and Montreal (May 15).
That's not to say that the U.S. is getting shut out. After the duo's first appearance at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival on April 24, Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel will hit Fargo on May 7, St. Paul on May 8, Madison on May 9, and Detroit on May 11.
The last time North American audiences got the duo together for proper shows was during the "Old Friends" tour, that ran for two months in 2003 and an encore month in 2004. Those shows led to a double live album and DVD called "Old Friends: Live on Stage."
