NOW AVAILABLE-THE BBC COMPLETE SOUND EFFECTS LIBRARY
The BBC Complete Sound Effects Library is now available on Sounddogs.com. It consists of two collections, the BBC Historical Archives Sound Effects Library and BBC Nature Sound Effects Library. The first library contains over 15,680 royalty-free effects capturing pivotal moments in sonic history and sound effects from all over the world. The BBC Nature Archives Sound Effects Library is an extensive collection of 18,370 royalty-free sound effects recorded by BBC’s top sound engineers from the late 1960s on. Never before released, this library contains seventy categories of nature, ambience and animal sound effects that cross borders and span the globe. Sounds include Apes from Borneo, ice cracking in Alaska, Killer Whale sound effects from Norway, Ethiopian Baboons and thousands more. This library also includes ten thousand bird sounds, from Costa Rican Vultures to Canadian Sparrows, from French Bee Eaters to South Georgian Macaroni Penguins. Every sound in the BBC Complete Sound Effects Library was recorded by BBCs top sound engineers in all corners of the globe. This library is delivered as 16/44.1 broadcast .wav files and contains rich embedded metadata for pinpoint sound effects searches. )
