PORTER'S 'ANYTHING GOES' RETURNS TO BROADWAY

Composer and songwriter Cole Porter returns to Broadway next season with the Roundabout Theater Company's revival of "Anything Goes."

Tony Award winner Sutton Foster stars as sassy nightclub singer Reno Sweeney.

Artistic director Todd Haimes calls Foster one of the most versatile women on Broadway. He calls her a "true triple threat who will be able to act, sing and dance this role as no one else could."

Foster originated Broadway roles from Millie Dillmount in "Thoroughly Modern Millie" to Princess Fiona in "Shrek the Musical."

Tony winner Kathleen Marshall will direct and choreograph. Timothy Crouse and John Weidman supply the new book.

"Anything Goes" will begin performances in February at a yet-to-be-announced theater.
