Remember those two new Abba songs that we were promised for Christmas?
Well apparently we may have to wait until after the summer to hear them.
The tracks, I Still Have Faith In You and Don’t Shut Me Down, were recorded by the band for for a Virtual Abba show, which was due to be broadcast on the BBC at the end of last year.
In September, the group announced the project was delayed until 2019.
Now, according to a report in Variety, there will be “No release before the summer.”
The magazine also linked to an interview with Benny Andersson on fan site IceTheSite which suggested legal complications had delayed the release, though no specifics were discussed
In another chat with the site (above), Andersson said the group could record a third new song.
"The reasons we did the new songs was to put them in the new show," he said.
"Now when this show comes up these songs will be old because they [will have been released when the show launches].
