Many athletes have been doing it for a long time without even knowing it is now a fitness trend. It’s called plogging, a combination of jogging and picking things up–usually trash. The Swedes are credited with starting the trend, and now it’s spreading in the United States .

On November 27, 1940, martial artist and film star Bruce Lee is born in San Francisco. Lee’s parents were from Hong Kong, and the family returned there in 1941. Lee moved back to the U.S. in 1959, enrolled at the University of Washington, opened a martial arts school and later married Linda Emery. Lee appeared on some U.S. television shows, but returned to Hong Kong where he became an action movie superstar. His most popular movie, Enter the Dragonwas released shortly after Lee died of brain edema in in 1973. The movie grossed over $200 million and made Lee an American icon.
When Democrats hold leadership elections this week, they will be choosing the speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives for the 116th Congress — the 55th person in U.S. history to serve in this critical government position .
Anthropologists, researchers and an international rights group have urged authorities to call off the search for the body of an American who was presumably killed by a secluded tribe in India, saying the move poses risks to both the hunter-gatherer tribe and recovery personnel.

Between 1937 and 2012, an estimated 1,600 people have committed suicide by jumping off this iconic bridge, but a preventive measure is on its way.
Russian President Vladimir Putin is warning Ukraine against committing any “reckless acts” as Ukraine imposed martial law after Russian forces seized three Ukrainian ships and their crews in the Black Sea .
