Αν έχετε συνηθίσει να τραγουδάτε τους λάθος στίχους σε ένα διάσημο τραγούδι, τότε δεν είστε μόνοι.
Μια νέα έρευνα που δημοσιεύει ο Independent, αποκάλυψε ότι ένας μεγάλος αριθμός Βρετανών-η έρευνα διεξήχθη στη Βρετανία- έχει παρεξηγήσει στίχους ουκ ολίγων τραγουδιών.
Για παράδειγμα οι στίχοι του γνωστού τραγουδιού των ABBA, «Dancing Queen» : «See that girl, watch her scream, kicking the dancing queen», η πλειοψηφία θεωρεί ότι οι συγκεκριμένοι στίχοι είναι: «See that girl, watch that scene, diggin' the dancing queen».
Ο στίχος των Queen's «We Will Rock You» είναι ο δεύτερος πιο παρεξηγημένος στίχος με το 18% να θεωρεί ότι ακούει «Kicking your cat all over the place» ενώ στη πραγματικότητα είναι: «"Kicking your can all over the place».
