U.S. President Donald Trump has extended social distancing and other coronavirus-fighting guidelines through April 30, saying what has been done so far is saving lives.

On March 30, 1981, President Ronald Reagan is shot in the chest by John Hinckley Jr. outside of a Washington hotel. The bullet narrowly missed the president’s heart. At 70 years old, Reagan managed to walk into the hospital despite having a collapsed lung. After a trial, Hinckley was found ‘not guilty by reason of insanity’ and sent to a mental hospital. He was released in 2016.
VIDEO: An increasing number of businesses , both large and small, recently joined in the battle against the coronavirus. One such business in the United States changed course from sewing boat sails to sewing cotton masks for caregivers on the frontlines. 
Officials in Afghanistan said Monday at least 21 security forces have died in the latest Taliban attacks. Additionally, a planned prisoner swap with the insurgent group has been delayed again. 
Museums across the U.S. have closed to the public to help stop the spread of the coronavirus. But that hasn’t stopped the guardians of some of the greatest art collections in the country from sharing their national treasures with people around the world.
Police in Cameroon have begun arresting people who defy measures put in place to stop the spread of the coronavirus, which has so far has infected 139 people in the central African state.
