American businesses operating in China have turned bearish on the Chinese economy after more companies reported drops in revenues and market demand as a result of the global coronavirus pandemic.

On March 25, 1634, English colonists arrive to what is now the state of Maryland. They landed at St. Clement’s Island on the western shore of Maryland and founded the settlement of St. Mary’s. Two years prior, King Charles I granted the charter for the land to George Calvert, the first Lord of Baltimore. The charter gave him rights to the region east of the Potomac Rivers in exchange for a share of profits derived from the land. The name Maryland comes from Henrietta Maria, the queen consort of Charles I.
Spain now has more coronavirus deaths than any country except Italy, after adding 738 fatalities on Wednesday. The one-day spike increased Spain’s death toll to 3,434, exceeding the 3,285 deaths in China, but still far behind world leader Italy with 6,820. 
Officials in Afghanistan say heavily armed suicide bombers Wednesday stormed a minority Sikh worship place in Kabul, killing at least 25 worshippers and injuring at least eight others. 
Hand sanitizer is one of the products Americans have been stockpiling during the coronavirus outbreak, and that left many store shelves empty of the product. The shortage is prompting companies like a small distillery in Falls Church, Virginia, to find creative ways to help.
President Donald Trump’s attempt to reengage North Korea through “anti-epidemic” help offered through a letter sent to the country’s leader Kim Jong Un is an effort to show the U.S. remains open to dialogue even amid the coronavirus pandemic, experts said.
