When in doubt, go with what works. And we don't mean Ricky Gervais. Billy Crystal will return as host of the Oscars next year, the funnyman first revealed today via Twitter.
The Emmy- and Tony Award-winner's name instantly rocketed to the top of the wish list after Eddie Murphy bowed out on the heels of producer Brett Ratner just yesterday.
"Am doing the Oscars so the young woman in the pharmacy will stop asking my name when I pick up my prescriptions," Crystal tweeted. "Looking forward to the show."
