A day after he logged a fifth week atop the U.S. pop album chart, rapper Eminem on Thursday claimed the lead on the Hot 100 singles chart for a second week.
"Love The Way You Lie," featuring Rihanna, kept Katy Perry's former chart-topper "California Gurls" at No. 2. But her follow-up single, "Teenage Dream," was the top debut at No. 20. The latter is the title track to her upcoming album, set for U.S. and Canadian release on August 24. Eminem's album, "Recovery," has sold almost 1.7 million copies to date in the United States.
Taio Cruz' "Dynamite" rose one to No. 3 on the Hot 100, swapping places with B.o.B's "Airplanes." Travie McCoy's "Billionaire" jumped two to No. 5 after peaking last month at No. 4.
Enrique Iglesias' "I Like It" rose two to No. 6, Mike Posner's "Cooler Than Me" slipped one to No. 7, and Usher's "OMG" dropped three to No. 8. Drake's "Find Your Love" and Jason Derulo's "Ridin' Solo" held steady at Nos. 9 and 10, respectively.
