It’s the season for selling, and celebs of all sorts — from “Real Housewives” to singer-songwriters — are jumping on the real estate bandwagon,. Not every slice of celebrity real estate is priced the same; some hit below the $1 million mark, and others top the list for the most expensive properties on the market. This time around we’re sampling high-end celeb homes currently for sale, starting with a Florida estate listed for a whopping $125 million.

Gianni Versace

For Sale — $125 million
Miami Beach, FL

Topping the list is Gianni Versace’s custom and over-the-top estate in Miami Beach. Recently listed for $125 million, the late fashion designer’s home at 1116 Ocean Dr., Miami Beach FL 33139 currently operates as a hotel. Sitting on nearly a half-acre of beachfront, the home has 23,462 square feet of living space.

Joe Montana

For Sale – $35 million
Calistoga, CA

Almost $100 million less than Versace’s home, but at $35 million, is former NFL quarterback great Joe Montana’s home, which is still well out of most homebuyers’ budgets. Originally listed in January 2010, Montana’s 500-acre estate at 10500 Franz Valley Rd., Calistoga, CA 94515  was priced at $49 million.

Katharine Hepburn

For Sale – $30 million
Old Saybrook, CT

Katharine Hepburn’s home was the centerpiece of the Hepburn family compound. Rebuilt by Hepburn herself after a 1938 hurricane, the estate at 10 Mohegan Ave., Old Saybrook, CT 06475 was Hepburn’s home until her death in 2003. Restored by new owners in 2004, the home was listed for sale in June 2011.

The other “MJ” on this list spent his final days in an enormous Beverly Glen, CA home. The King of Pop rented the 17,000-square-foot French Chateau-style estate at 100 N Carolwood Dr., Los Angeles, CA 90077 for a reported $100,000 a month.

Rosie O’Donnell

For Sale – $19.5 million

Shortly after Rosie O’Donnell left Chicago and her OWN cable talk show, she decided to also list her vacation spot in Florida. She picked up the Miami Beach home in 1999 for $6.79 million and extensively renovated the estate at 43 Star Island Dr., Miami Beach, FL 33139 over the years.

Kelsey and Camille Grammer amassed quite the real estate collection during their marriage, and although their divorce is finalized, the former Hollywood couple still have a few homes that they need to sell off, including this Beverly Glen, CA estate.
