The Stork Club

The Stork Club

M. & A. Alexander Productions / Paramount, 1945, B/W, 98 minutes

Released December, 1945

An entertaining song and dance musical comedy with Betty Hutton playing a wise-cracking nightclub hat-check girl. She unwittingly saves the life of a hobo who is played by Barry Fitzgerald. In reality he is really a cynical elderly millionaire. His expressions of gratitude are less than appreciated by her G.I. beau.

Great movie! Barry Fitzgerald is such a wonderful actor. And, of course, Betty Hutton is loads of fun, too.
