Biopic of the legendary ... exotic dancer, Louise Hovick, aka Gypsy Rose Lee. Sister of June Haver, Hovick became a movie actress in the late '30s, and was still working in films when this film was made. She made her final appearance in a cameo with Rosalind Russell and Hayley Mills in the film, The Trouble with Angels, in 1966.
