LOS ANGELES - Singer Mary J. Blige and Italian pop tenor Andrea Bocelli will perform Simon & Garfunkel's "Bridge Over Troubled Water" at the Grammy awards on Sunday to raise money for victims of the Haiti earthquake.
Grammy organizers said on Wednesday that audio and video of the special performance would be made available on iTunes immediately after the broadcast of the live January 31 awards ceremony to be held in Los Angeles.
All proceeds will go to Red Cross relief efforts in Haiti.
The performance is also intended as a anniversary tribute to "Bridge Over Troubled Water", which won Grammys for record of the year, song of the year, and album of the year 40 years ago.
The Blige and Bocelli collaboration follows a two-hour charity telethon for Haiti relief shown across all major U.S. TV channels and the Internet last Friday that has raised more than $61 million.
Performers at the telethon included Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys, Jay-Z, Bono and Beyonce. Wonder also sang a cover version of "Bridge Over Troubled Water" at that event.
