VIDEO: From the streets to six figures in six weeks? The Tenderloin used to be one of San Francisco’s roughest neighborhoods, but it’s now home to powerhouse tech-based companies like Twitter, AirBnB and Uber. As the tech companies expand, homelessness and job displacement for locals continues to rise. One man who lived on the street for 18 years is now dedicated to helping other homeless people learn to code so they can to pursue jobs in the neighborhood.

On July 31, 1975, American labor leader Jimmy Hoffa vanishes in Detroit, Michigan. Most assume Hoffa is the victim of a Mafia hit. Hoffa, an ardent advocate for workers, also associates with high-ranking mobsters. His disappearance remains shrouded in mystery. Paul Manafort has his day in court. The 69-year-old former Trump campaign chairman went on trial today in Alexandria, Virginia, on one of two criminal cases brought against him by special counsel Robert Mueller.
