A SPECIAL LOUNGE FOR OSCAR PRESENTERS

Forget about who's sitting in the audience at this Sunday's Academy Awards -- it's all about which stars are hanging out backstage in the Architectural Digest greenroom.

Interior designer Michael S. Smith created the luxe lounge, which will resemble an elegant, 1940s-style library (complete with furnishings that celebrate Hollywood's golden era). Presenters and honorees such as Natalie Portman, Colin Firth and Nicole Kidman are expected to swing by the stylish space.

"Having lived in California my whole life, I have always been thrilled by the movies, and the design and architecture that surround them," Smith tells UsMagazine.com in a statement. "I am always inspired by film. It is an honor to participate in the most prestigious of all Hollywood events."

The glam greenroom will feature furnishings by Baker, Cowtan & Tout, Phillip Jeffries, Questroyal Fine Art and Samsung Electronics.
