- How it would work: Athletes would get a cut of the money schools generate from TV deals, ticket sales and sponsorships. The NCAA approved the deal in a settlement this week.
- It would be a huge change: The NCAA has long refused to let schools pay athletes. If the settlement goes through, revenue sharing would probably begin in the fall of 2025.
