- The problem: Errors in the transfer of student loan accounts between servicing companies have resulted in some balances accidentally appearing twice on credit reports.
- Why it matters: Credit scores are a key factor in determining how much you pay when borrowing money. At least 1.4 million people are affected, and it could be much more.

- What to know: The average age of first menstruation was 11.9 years for those born between 2000 and 2005, down from 12.5 years for those born between 1950 and 1969, a study found.
