| Missing surfers from the U.S. and Australia were confirmed dead by Mexico. |
- Who were they? Carter Rhoad and brothers Jake and Callum Robinson, who went missing late last month. Their families have identified their bodies, authorities said yesterday.
- What happened? The men appear to have been killed in a robbery gone wrong, officials said. Three people are in custody.

- The allegations: The Texas Democrat and his wife took $600,000 in bribes from an oil firm controlled by Azerbaijan and a bank headquartered in Mexico, prosecutors said Friday.
- What now? Cuellar said he’ll fight the charges and continue his campaign for another term in his swing district on the Texas-Mexico border.

- How? By releasing unhealthy levels of nitrogen dioxide — which can trigger asthma and other health issues — sometimes even hours after they’re turned off, a new study found.
- Are you at risk? People living in smaller homes were exposed to the highest pollution levels, the study said. Its lead author said people should consider installing safer appliances.

| Boeing will finally attempt to fly its Starliner spacecraft tonight. |
- The plan: Starliner is set to launch at 10:34 p.m. Eastern with a pair of veteran astronauts on board. It should dock with the International Space Station about a day later.
- It’s a big moment: It’s one of the most important tests for Boeing’s space division — and for NASA — in years. And it follows a string of high-profile mishaps on Boeing planes.
