Will Smith’s post-Oscar-slap moves have been well-documented: winning best actor, dancing to “Gettin’ Jiggy Wit It” at Vanity Fair’s after-party, and apologizing to Chris Rockfor his “unacceptable and inexcusable” actions. But Rock has remained outwardly silent about the incident…until possibly tonight, at least, when he’s set to make his first public appearance since the Oscars. Savannah Walsh sets the stage: “Rock is scheduled to perform the first of six sold-out shows at Boston’s Wilbur Theatre on Wednesday, as part of his Ego Death World Tour. Ticket sales and prices for the tour have reportedly spiked in the slap’s aftermath—confirmation that curiosity about Rock’s perspective has been piqued.”
