William Shatner responds to the news by tweeting: "Is this year over yet? Too many people are passing away." By the end of the year journalists are dubbing 2016 as the "year that music died." Before the year ends, Debbie Reynolds, a Hollywood star who had a #1 hit in 1957 with "Tammy," and her daughter, the actress Carrie Fisher, also pass away.
