As one writer hoping for solidarity from the actors puts it, “I personally think this is the [studios’] worst fear—people of Meryl Streepcaliber’s being on strike and talking about the tech disruptions and corporate greed that has been hollowing out the working class of so many creative fields here in Hollywood.”
