A study of the Inserm revealed by Le Parisien says that the consumption of a single can of 33cl soda
 puts the liver in danger.

Sodas are bad for your health. From only one can a day. This is what reveals a study of Inserm, which will
be presented this Thursday at a conference on the liver in Paris.

" From now on, we know that consumption of 33 centilitres per day puts the liver at risk!"Explains Lawrence Serfaty, professor at the Strasbourg University Hospital, who initiated the congress, with the French association of hepatologists on leparisien.fr . Before, we only had estimates. "

The amount of sugar contained in soda is a problem. " As it is liquid, it is very easily assimilated by the intestine. It then meets the liver that turns this sugar into fat, this is the risk " continues the specialist.

These results, hope scientists, will allow a better warning of consumers.

"Soldier's disease", an excessive consumption of fatty and sugary foods and beverages with serious health complications, is on the rise. The disease causes inflammation of the liver, which over time can turn into cirrhosis or cancer.
