New York Fashion Week ended with a bang on Wednesday as Marc Jacobs showcased a dazzling 80s-inspired collection featuring vibrant hues, bulky adorned shoulders and jumpsuits.
But a small group of animal rights activists loudly protested outside the event, criticising Jacobs' use of fur.
Chants included: "Animals are not ours to wear," while placards read: "Marc Jacobs kills because you buy."
Back inside, the bare stage set was lit up with flamboyant shoes, bright taffeta ruffles and boxy suits - Grace Jones, eat your heart out.

Michael Kors also showed on the final day, closing with My Favourite Things from The Sound of Music.
He described his latest collection as "a Valentine to personal style", as the likes of Blake Lively, Maya Hawke, Jourdan Dunn and Emily Blunt lined the front row.

Floral prints, chunky knits, oversized scarves, tartan and leopard print were among the looks on display.
And after Gigi Hadid hit back at body shaming earlier in the week, Kors once again used plus-size models including Ashley Graham and Sabina Karlsson.
Meanwhile, over at Calvin Klein, Raf Simons brought a surreal twist to proceedings, covering the floor of the American Stock Exchange with 50,000 gallons of popcorn.

Balaclavas featured heavily, while some models strutted down the catwalk wearing elbow-length silver foil gloves with matching dresses and ghostly tartan floor-length frocks.
It was definitely a move away from the more wearable collections from Jacobs and Kors.
So as we wave goodbye to the after-show parties and couture cocktails, let's look back at all the big moments both on and off the catwalk.

Gigi body shaming row

Superstar model Gigi Hadid has faced criticism over her weight recently on social media, with comments such as "too skinny" and "u are just bones" posted on her Instagram feed.
Having taken the catwalk by storm in New York over the weekend in shows for Prabal Gurung, Brandon Maxwell and Jeremy Scott, the star posted a series of tweets defending her size and explained that her fluctuating weight was due to her management of Hashimoto's disease, an auto-immune condition.
Will it stop the haters? Who knows, but Gigi says she won't be explaining the way her body looks again.
