April 27th 2023 - CIRCOM Regional is delighted to announce the category winners in the Prix CIRCOM Regional 2023

The jury met in Porto as guests of RTP. Fourteen judges, representatives of regional public service television stations in Europe, took the time to share their observations on everything they saw. They watched more than 170 submitted entries. They rewarded the very best productions in 11 categories, ranging from Documentaries, News Report to Music and Arts, and Digital Multimedia.

Entries came from 22 regional public service television stations in Europe. Some countries have increased the number of entries. Overall, there has been an increase in the number of entries compared to last year.

We are pleased to note that some of the award-winning entrants from previous years have also participated this year.
The Grand Prix winner will be announced at a Gala show as a part of the CIRCOM Regional Annual Conference in Donostia-San Sebastian in Spain on 1st June 2023.

MINORITIES IN SOCIETY

Winner: Peter Keresztes, TVR Timisoara, Romania

YOUNG ONSCREEN TALENT

Winner: Daniel Strömbäck, SVT Halland, Sweden

There is no Commended in this category

The winning stations receive a trophy, 1000 euros as well as travel to and accommodation at the awards ceremony. The Grand Prix winner receives a further 2000 euros in cash and another trophy.

The presentation of the awards will be at a Gala show as a part of the CIRCOM Regional Annual Conference in Donostia-San Sebastian, Spain, hosted by EITB – Basque Radio and Television, on 1st June 2023.
