Spry musical adaptation of the hit Broadway comedy stars Janet Leigh and Betty Garrett as two Ohio siblings who move to New York City and take a basement apartment in a Greenwich Village brownstone occupied by offbeat characters. Jack Lemmon, Dick York, Kurt Kaznar, and Bob Fosse (who also served as the film's choreographer) also star; co-scripted by Blake Edwards.
