Dr. Bertier (Maurice Chevalier) is married to Colette (Jeanette MacDonald), but has a tendency to roam. When his eyes fix on Mitzi Olivier (Genevieve Tobin), his wife's best friend, the sparks fly. But Colette finds out what happened and takes a fling herself. After the smoke clears, the two agree to keep themselves faithful to their marriage and cease the wandering ways.
