MADONNA TURNS 53 TODAY

The Material Girl, who turns 53 today, was celebrating a happy birthday this week with 24-year-old beau Brahim Zaibat, the French DJ boy toy she's been running around with for nearly a year.

Madonna and Zaibat showed some PDA over the weekend in the Hamptons, where they were spotted embracing while the singer's littlest ones, David and Mercy, played in the sand.

Zaibat, a sometimes-DJ and full-time dancer, met the star last September when he was hired to perform at an event for the release of her Material Girl clothing line. Since then they've enjoyed romantic dinners in London, a holiday in Paris and now time on the beach.

"She's just a woman like all the others. She's an extraordinary artist and world famous, of course, but a woman above all," Zaibat told Grazia magazine in December.

In June, the pair were rumored to have split, but their birthday romp on the beach tells a different story. Madonna is currently recording a new album, under the direction of manager Guy Oseary, and is rumored to be teaming with the likes of producer William Orbit and bombshell Rihanna.
