Yesterday: Trump said Harris “was Indian all the way” before she “became a Black person.” It came during a combative interview with Black journalists — we fact-checked it here. The fallout: Harris called it a show of “disrespect” from Trump. His attack on Harris’s racial identity moves the presidential contest into a new phase, and may alienate some voters. The latest: Israel has not claimed responsibility for the killing of Ismail Haniyeh, but Iran said it would retaliate against Israel.
