In Brief • TG4 awarded by Tourism Ireland for hosting the Annual Conference of CIRCOM Regional in Galway • “Changes and Challenges” – in the focus of the 40th Annual ConferenceofCIRCOM Regional • CIRCOM Reflections kicks off TG4 awarded by Tourism Ireland for hosting the Annual Conference of CIRCOM Regional in Galway TG4, the Irish language broadcaster in Ireland, was awarded the Fáilte Ireland ambassador award in recognition of hosting the Annual Conference of CIRCOM Regional in Galway in 2022. Over 300 participants from European broadcasters travelled to the West Atlantic Coast to explore the theme of Creative Regions, Creative Economy. On behalf of TG4 Lís Ní Dhálaigh, Director of Marketing, Development and Partnerships, and Caroline Ní Dubhchóin, Marketing Producer, accepted the award, which Fáilte Ireland, the National Tourism Development Authority of Ireland adjudges for contribution to the country's economy. "Congratulations to Caroline Ní Dhubhchóin and Lís Ní Dhálaigh and the whole TG4. It was the memorable event where hundreds of delegates from across Europe got hooked in Galway, Connemara and Ireland. CIRCOM Regional is delighted with the award!", wrote Fernando Ojea, Secretary General of CIRCOM Regional. “Congrats to all at CIRCOM Regional - it was a team effort!”, replied Lís Ní Dhálaigh. "Changes and Challenges" – in the focus of the 40th Annual Conference of CIRCOM Regional Changes and Challenges will be the slogan of the Annual Conference of CIRCOM Regionalin 2024. This will be the 40th edition of the most important annual event of our association of regional televisions across Europe. Changes in technology - ongoing and looking as if they are everlasting! Challenges in content creation and talking with audiences and users! Media striving to be at the height of their mission in reshaping world and societies on the move! The zeitgeist throws the gauntlet! The gauntlet is taken, respond the hosts from TVP3 Poznań.
