The 39th Annual Conference of CIRCOM Regional will start in less than ten days. Prominent experts will touch upon broad spectre of topics – from trends that shape the media landscape to case studies that encourage reflection about ongoing processes in media industry and in democratic society. The CIRCOM Regional most important event in 2023 will be held in Donostia-San Sebastian, Basque Country, Spain. It will be hosted by EITB, Basque Radio and Television and will take place on 1 and 2 June 2023. The invited keynote speakers are influential professionals coming from various backgrounds with vast experience in television and in digital media. They will present both strategies and good practices. To pair the discussions on fundamental issues, we will listen to keynote speakers who will share their experience in content production and content communication. Also, a group of speakers will elaborate on the advantages of new technology and innovation and the challenge of disinformation and fake news. A team of speakers from Hromadske TV, our Associate Member from Ukraine, will talk about how media cope with the realities of a society at war, when “war” means the most serious conflict in Europe since WWII.
