For awhile, we've been raving about musician, songwriter and producer Samuel Archer. Archer won us over with the Quincy Jones-like Soul Music Vineyard, an ambitious collection on which he collaborated with a bevy of great vocalists such as Nadira Norjahan, Terrence Russell, Afi Soul, Raja-Nee, and many more.
For his newest single, Samuel has teamed with singer Lasro The Kingon a cool late night ballad that sounds like Tony Terry meets Roy Ayers. It's that good.
"Like I Love You" is the proclamation of a man who is absolutely digging a woman and wants her to dig him right back. There's a steady groove underneath Lasro's smooth vocal performance that makes the song work whether you're chilling on your couch or vibing on the dancefloor.
