Good morning. It’s Monday, April 29, and if you missed this weekend’s White House correspondents’ dinner, here are all the best jokes from host Colin Jost— and from President Biden, too. | Tornadoes killed at least four people in Oklahoma. |
- What to know: Entire neighborhoods were leveled in several Oklahoma towns Saturday night, including downtown Sulphur. A 4-month-old infant was among those killed.

| The American South is facing one of the most rapid sea level rises on Earth. |
- How fast? Sea levels are at least 6 inches higher than they were in 2010 at 12 points from Texas to North Carolina. The rise around the Gulf of Mexico is twice the global average rate.
- Why it’s worrying: The higher sea level — and sinking land — has led to bigger, more frequent flooding, threatening communities. The rise is irreversible, experts say, and will only get worse.

| Birthrates in the U.S. hit a historic low last year. |

|
| A vegan blue cheese caused major drama in the cheese world. |
(Climax Foods) |
- What is it? The Climax Blue, made from a plant-based blend of seeds, beans and fats. It was named as a finalist in a prestigious food award in January — and had been set to win it today.
- It caused a stink: Traditional cheesemakers were upset about the nomination. And, last week, the Good Food Foundation abruptly removed the cheese from its finalist list.
