- What we know: A vehicle crashed through a building in the small town of Chatham yesterday, striking several people. The driver hasn’t been publicly identified.
- The victims: The people killed are believed to be between the ages of 4 and 18, authorities said. Several others were injured.

 | A massive power outage hit Spain and Portugal yesterday. |
- The scene: Trains suddenly stopped running, hospitals had to cancel surgeries and business ground to a halt. The outage even suspended several Madrid Open tennis matches.
- What caused it? There was no immediate explanation, and Spain’s prime minister said it’s “best not to speculate.” By the evening, power had been restored in some areas.

 | A stunning mural was found on a sunken World War II aircraft carrier. |
- The wreck: The USS Yorktown sank to the bottom of the Pacific Ocean in the 1942 Battle of Midway. Almost 83 years later, an underwater robot was able to take a look inside.
- A miraculous discovery: The robot found a 42-foot-long hand-painted mural of Earth, as well as a ruined car and a jumble of smashed planes — see the amazing photos here.
