It will be held in less than a month, on 22-23 May in Barcelona. It will be hosted by CR member 3Cat, the regional broadcaster in Catalonia, Spain. At the flagship event of the year for the regional audiovisual media across Europe we will explore the implications of Artificial Intelligence on journalism and on television – an ongoing conversation which has been steadily in the focus of our Association. The wider context would be shaped by equally important problems with dedicated sessions on building effective relations with audiences by coming up with the right strategies as well as promoting and protecting good journalism. Don’t miss it! > Register HERE < Prix CIRCOM 2025 – Respect to All Competitors, Praise the Winners and Commended The Prix CIRCOM 2025 is now over! The judging of this most prestigious competition for regional television in Europe took place in early April in Glasgow. It was hosted by MG ALBA – the Gaelic language broadcaster in Scotland, UK. After three days of intense watching of entries, intense deliberations and yes, sometimes difficult decisions as the quality of the content entered was very good, the judges spoke. You can find who are the Winners and the Commended on the CIRCOM Regional website. Yet, the biggest thrill still remains – who is the Grand Prix Winner! The name will be announced at the Prix CIRCOM Gala Award ceremony. The event to praise the best content created by our members, will be at the Museu Maritim de Barcelona on 22 May in the evening. This event is part of the Annual Conference of CIRCOM Regional. So, to be part of the celebration – and the furore! CIRCOM Regional members REGISTER and attend!  Training – Leading Through Change and the perspectives beyond On 24-25 April we held the now established training Leading Through Change. Hosted by SVT in Gothenburg, Sweden, and now in its 3rd consecutive year, this training helps managers of various teams to find adequate approaches to fulfil their tasks in ever-changing media environment. We had participants from various European regional television stations: HRT Croatia, EITB Basque Country, Spain, NRK Norway, RTVS Slovakia, SVT Sweden, MG ALBA Scotland and BBC UK. In May we will continue with two more events contributing to professional development and perfection.  On 6 May we will hold the webinar Innovation Strategies - What is our Future?. It will be based on a research carried out by the CIRCOM Regional UVigo Chair on the development and management of innovation across regional public sector broadcasters in Europe. Being held in the days before the Annual Conference in Barcelona, this in-presence workshop enjoys great interest (all places are booked) and is just the perfect combination of theory and practice with an opportunity to join the Conference and indulge in discussions with peers and outstanding experts.
