Hej! Petra Mede and Malin Åkerman will host in Malmö!

The 68th Eurovision Song Contest will be hosted by a Hollywood star and an iconic Eurovision-veteran.

Malin Åkerman was born in Stockholm and raised in Canada. Today she is known for her appearances in The Comeback and Entourage and movies like The Heartbreak Kid and Watchmen. She has acted alongside Tom Cruise, Jennifer Aniston, Sandra Bullock and The Rock.

Petra Mede is one of Sweden's most beloved television hosts and comedians, having hosted Melodifestivalen, the QX-gala and Guldbaggegalan and, of course, her own Petra Mede Show, on TV3.

Which Semi-Final is your favourite country competing in?

On Tuesday 30 January the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 Semi-Final Draw took place in Malmö, alongside a ceremony which saw the Host City insignia pass from previous hosts Liverpool to our Swedish friends.
The Draw determined which countries would participate and/or vote in for the First Semi-Final (Tuesday 7 May at 21:00 CEST) and the Second Semi-Final (Thursday 9 May at 21:00 CEST). Also randomly allocated was whether a country will perform in the first or second half of the Semi-Final they’ve drawn.

It was also determined which Semi-Finals the so-called 'Big Five' and Sweden will be able to vote in.
