And the Golden Globe Nominees Will Be...
Well, really, who’s to say? Even in a normal year, the Globes can be unpredictable—and as we all know well by now, this awards season is anything but normal. But while we still don’t know whether any nominees will be able to attend the ceremony in person, Vanity Fair’s awards experts anticipatethat the casts and creative teams behind several quarantine-era favorites—including The Queen’s Gambit, The Prom, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, Borat 2, The Crown, and Schitt’s Creek—will be happy when the nominees are announced February 3.
Elsewhere in HWD, Maureen Ryan details the disturbing allegations Evan Rachel Wood and other accusers have made against Marilyn Manson; Sarah Jessica Parker drops a few crumbs of information about the coming Sex and the City revival; Katey Rich reviews CODA, the first breakout filmof the 2021 Sundance Film Festival; and, in a dispatch from our friends at the Hive, Bess Levin marvels at a new film from Louise Linton, which is about a “bisexual sociopath” who eats a man’s balls.
