- How we’ll remember him: As a sandy-haired heartthrob who starred on the 1960s medical drama “Dr. Kildare,” and other hit series including “Shogun” and “The Thorn Birds.”
- What we know: The 90-year-old died Saturday in Hawaii. The cause was complications from a stroke, his publicist said.
