Local business owner becomes U.S. citizen
For some of us, being an American citizen is something we’ve always known, but for one local business owner, becoming an American citizen changed everything.
Gus Papazoglou, owner of local restaurant Greek To Me, recently took the oath to become an American citizen after months of working to gain citizenship.
He says that gaining his citizenship was a “dream come true.”
“I always felt American, but now I can actually say I’m an American, I’ve got the papers and background to change it,” said Papazoglou.
Papazoglou is native to Greece ,and moved to America with his family when he was young. He has owned Greek To Me for twenty years.
