Shaped like a massive heart,

Dubai is building a

futuristic
entertainment

complex

Enter ‘Dubai Heart’: A concept project design for an upcoming entertainment destination in Jumeirah Beach. It has recently been revealed by Dubai-based Nad Al Shiba Engineering Consultants and is among the shortlisted entries in a competition announced by the Dubai Municipality.

Boasting a total built-up area of 102,301.8m2, the heart-shaped entertainment destination is conceptualized to be the best in several departments. It aims to pack in Guinness Records for the world’s tallest tower slide at 150m-height, the longest glass passage in the sea that will be150m-long, and the highest indoor climbing wall, with a 100m-height, on completion.

Additionally, the design includes space for a ‘sand art mall’ with an artificial surfing bay, an amphitheater, a yacht dock, an observation deck, and a food court. It will also accommodate an exquisite three-level section called ‘Cloud Trip’ that will give visitors a unique experience of walking on bubbles.

The superlative design is currently under review, with the competition’s winning entry yet to be announced. However, for boasting gigantic slides and eclectic spaces in the form of a heart, we sure hope Nad Al Shiba bags the deal!
