The project is being implemented as of 5 October 2023 and will last for one year. CRTVG, the Galician regional public service broadcasting media, is sponsoring the Agreement.

CR and UVigo are to set up a joint dedicated Chair. Its head is Prof. José Rúas, from the UVigo Faculty of Communication. Project Manager on behalf of CIRCOM Regional is Dr. Zoran Medved, Member of the CR European Board.

The team of researchers will work on a media mapping to track down and understand the adaptation to the digital transformation in European regional public televisions. Both sides will cooperate in publication of scientific papers and reports to reflect and spread knowledge about the advance of the mutual research as well as hold other educational events.
Training – Stepping Up 2023 workshop
Stepping Up - workshop for women leaders, took place from 24-26 October. It is the second time that CIRCOM Regional organizes this kind of workshop dedicated to women. It was a big success last year and this second training, led by Linda Hermansson of SVT and Gordana Škaljac Narančić of HRT, went also very well. 14 participants, women managers, who came from Norway, Finland, Sweden, Britain, Bulgaria, Spain, and Croatia attended the sessions.

The aim of this workshop was to offer an informal and safe space in which the managers can share honestly the challenges they face as a leader in regional broadcasting. Highly interactive, it gives tools and techniques to help build confidence in themself and in their leadership.
CIRCOM Regional Reflections
In the run up to the 40th Annual Conference CIRCOM is about to begin a series of articles on the website. It will be entitled "CIRCOM Regional Reflections". These will be publications which would follow how we approached important topics for media during our Annual Conferences. It would be a platform to promote good practices as well. Also, it aims to spread the word of positive developments related to CIRCOM Regional and its members.

The first publication will be touching upon the young audiences perceptions of news. It will be published in early November.
