South Korea has been able to locate coronavirus clusters, investigate the path of infection, quickly isolate those involved, and warn the public about trouble spots to avoid. The result has been stunning: South Korea has reported one of the lowest coronavirus death rates in the world.
ON THIS DAY IN AMERICAN HISTORY
On March 23, 1775, Patrick Henry, a founding father, declares ‘Give me liberty, or give me death!’ to a gathering of Virginia delegates at a Richmond church. Henry’s speech convinced delegates at the convention, including future presidents George Washington and Thomas Jefferson, to send Virginian troops to help fight the Revolutionary War.
Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe announced Monday that Japan will require a 14-day quarantine to all visitors from the United States amid an escalating number of coronavirus infections around the globe. 
U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo made a previously unannounced visit to Kabul Monday to try to resolve a political dispute between Afghan President Ashraf Ghani and rival Abdullah Abdullah.
