The news hit us like a ton of brick today, as we learned of the passing of Dynasty singer Nidra Beard, after a battle with cancer.
Beard was the bright-voiced lead singer of one of the great and fun R&B bands of the 80s, and leaders of the L.A. sound that was captured on SOLAR Records alongside Shalamar, The Whispers adn Midnight Star.
