The temperatures are dropping, and the buzz in Hollywood, naturally, is all about The Banshees of Inisherin—and not just about the sweeping landscapes and pitch-perfect performances. As it turns out, the movie’s knitwear is stealing the show. Vanity Fair’s Maggie Coughlan got the whole scoop on the biggest fiber sensation to sweep the pop-culture nation since Chris Evans in Knives Out. As costume designer Eimer Ní Mhaoldomhnaigh reveals to VF, the sweaters were hand-knit by a local octogenarian for the production. Truly a yarn of a tale. |
