Democratic presidential contenders targeted front-runner Bernie Sanders in a raucous debate late Tuesday, contending that the self-declared democratic socialist would lose to Republican President Donald Trump in November’s national election if he is the party’s nominee.

On Feb. 26, 1993, Islamic terrorists explode a truck bomb in the basement of the north tower of the World Trade Center in New York City. The plan was to knock the north tower into the south tower, and while that didn’t happen, six people were killed, and over 1,000 were injured. The perpetrators received financing from long-time terrorist Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, who is considered the mastermind of the 9/11 attacks. He was arrested in 2003 in his home country of Pakistan.
U.S. military officials in South Korea Wednesday confirmed the first infection of a U.S. service member with the coronavirus. The patient, a 23-year-old male, has been placed in self-quarantine at his off-base residence.

Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and Egypt moved this week to restore mail service to Qatar in another sign that the embargo imposed by four Sunni Arab states nearly three years ago is starting to crumble.
