Too Many Girls
RKO, 1940, B/W, 85 minutes, ***
Released October, 1940
Lucille Ball plays a snooty heiress attending a college "out west." Her father assigns four football players to keep an eye on her to make sure she stays out of trouble, but she manages just fine in spite of them. Lots of fun and laughs with a great cast. Look for Van Johnson as a chorus boy and Desi Arnaz in his first film. Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz met and fell in love on the set.
