Wonderfully charming musical remake of Mother Carey's Chickens (novel by Kate Douglas Wiggin and 1938 MGM film), starring everyone's sweetheart - the incomparable Hayley Mills. Burl Ives, Una Merkel and Dorothy McGuire are enchanting. Musical highlights include Hodges and Mills singing "The Pink of Perfection" and Mills, Walley and Turner's "Femininity." And, of course, Burl Ives provides some great numbers. This film is really a lot of fun!
