However, while the B777 was cruising at FL370 about 210nm west-northwest of Bangkok, the aircraft suffered severe turbulence causing injuries to a number of passengers, as reported by the Aviation Herald.

The Tupolev Tu-404: Largest Aircraft Ever Designed
The world of aviation is littered with a number of dreams that rarely become reality. One such intriguing concept was the Tupolev Tu-404, a behemoth of a commercial aircraft proposed by the Russian aerospace company Tupolev in the early 1990s. Tuplev Tu-404 is the largest aircraft ever designed in the history of aviation. It wasn’t your average jumbo jet; it was a radical design with the potential to carry a whopping 1,214 passengers in a single-class configuration across vast distances […]

Korean Air Sells Five Boeing 747-8s for Possible USAF Conversion
Korean Air has announced the sale of five Boeing 747-8 jets to Sierra Nevada Corporation, a U.S. aerospace firm. The private firm specializes in converting Boeing 747s into presidential aircraft. This news comes amidst Sierra Nevada’s recent acquisition of a $13 billion contract from the U.S. Air Force to develop a successor to the E-4B Nightwatch aircraft. The E-4B, nicknamed the “Doomsday Plane,” is a heavily modified Boeing 747-200 that serves as a flying command center during emergencies and wartime […]
The 10 Longest Narrow-Body Flights in 2024
Narrow-body aircraft, once confined to shorter routes, are now stretching their wings across continents, redefining the boundaries of air travel. More and more airlines are pushing the limits of what is possible with narrow-body aircraft. Currently, the Airbus A321neo, primarily the LR variant is used widely to operate long-haul narrow-body flights. La Compagnie’s (B0) Flight B0300 from Milan-Malpanse to Newark is currently the World’s longest non-stop narrow-body flight, lasting around 8 hours and 30 minutes on average. This flight is […]

Video: World’s Most Bizarre Airline – North Korea’s Air Koryo
The flying experience on North Korea’s “one-star airline” Air Koryo is completely different from any other airline! You can fly this airline and visit a museum at the same time! But are they really bizarre and terrible?
I share my experience of flying Air Koryo on their Soviet Ilyushin IL-62, Ilyushin IL-18 and modern Tupolev 204 and Antonov 148 aircraft. It actually has more leg room and the seats are wider than most other airlines, customer service may be better than United or RyanAir. There are free food and drinks for everyone. It is definitely an exotic experience you don't want to miss!
