Η ΚΑΙΤΗ ΓΑΡΜΠΗ ΜΕ ΤΗΝ ΟΡΝΕΛΑ ΒΑΝΟΝΙ
Η Καίτη Γαρμπή επιστρέφει α λα ιταλικά! Η δημοφιλής τραγουδίστρια κάνει τη μεγάλη έκπληξη τραγουδώντας μαζί με μια σπουδαία Ιταλίδα συνάδελφό της, την Ορνέλα Βανόνι.
Πριν από λίγο καιρό η Καίτη Γαρμπή είχε ενημερώσει τους θαυμαστές της μέσω Διαδικτύου ότι ετοιμάζει μια δυνατή συνεργασία από τη γείτονα χώρα, την Ιταλία.
Η αλήθεια όμως είναι πως ελάχιστοι γνώριζαν πως μιλούσε για την Ορνέλα Βανόνι, μία από τις σημαντικότερες φωνές του ιταλικού τραγουδιού, και αναμφισβήτητα η είδηση της δισκογραφικής συνεργασίας τους έπεσε σαν βόμβα στον εγχώριο καλλιτεχνικό χώρο.
Οι δύο τραγουδίστριες ένωσαν τις φωνές τους στο γνωστό κομμάτι «Buona Vita», το οποίο ερμήνευσε στο παρελθόν με μεγάλη επιτυχία η Ιταλίδα ερμηνεύτρια. Στη σημερινή εκτέλεση του κομματιού ο στίχος δεν είναι μόνο στα ιταλικά, αλλά συμπληρώνεται και από φράσεις στα ελληνικά, με σκοπό το «πάντρεμα» των δύο γλωσσών των ερμηνευτριών του.
Αυτό που αξίζει να τονίσουμε είναι το γεγονός ότι η Καίτη Γαρμπή και η Ορνέλα Βανόνι έχουν δέσει απόλυτα από φωνητικής πλευράς και το ερμηνευτικό αποτέλεσμα στο σύνολό του φέρνει στο νου καλοκαιρινές, ρομαντικές εικόνες.
Η Ορνέλα Βανόνι διαπρέπει στο ιταλικό τραγούδι για περισσότερα από πενήντα χρόνια. Η βραχνή, ερωτική φωνή της και η υπέροχη σκηνική παρουσία της, σε συνδυασμό με τα ωραία κομμάτια που πάντα επιλέγει, την έχουν κατατάξει στην κατηγορία των πιο γοητευτικών ερμηνευτριών της Ιταλίας.

Απεβίωσε ο Θύμιος Καρακατσάνης
Ενας μεγάλος θεατράνθρωπος, ο Θύμιος Καρακατσάνης, έφυγε σημερα, Σάββατο, από τη ζωή σε ηλικία 72 ετών. Ο σημαντικός αυτός Ελληνας ηθοποιός και σκηνοθέτης αντιμετώπιζε χρόνια και σοβαρά προβλήματα υγείας, τα οποία είχαν επιβαρυνθεί τον τελευταίο καιρο απο το σάκχαρο.
Γεννήθηκε στις 8 Δεκεμβρίου 1940 στον Πειραιά, σπούδασε στο Θέατρο Τέχνης του Καρόλου Κουν. Από το 1960 άρχισε να συμμετέχει στις παραστάσεις του δασκάλου ενώ στη συνέχεια χάραξε την προσωπική του πορεια στο ελεύθερο θέατρο, ως σκηνοθέτης και θιασάρχης. ως βασικό στέλεχος του Θεάτρου Τέχνης και εν συνεχεία στο ελεύθερο θέατρο.
Ενας από τους σπουδαιότερους αριστοφανικούς ηθοποιός, ο Καρακατσάνης διέγραψε μια πλούσια πορεία ερμηνεύοντας τους περισσότερους ρόλους στις κωμωδίες του ποιητή. Συμμετείχε άλλωστε και στην ιστορική παράσταση του Κουν με τους "Ορνιθες", το 1959. Η θητεία του στο ελληνικό (Ψαθάς, επιθεώρηση) και διεθνές ρεπερτόριο είναι επίσης αξιοσημείωτη: Πίντερ, Χάσεκ, Καλντερόν, Μολιέρος, Νιλ Σάιμον. Απο τις τελευταίες του εμφανίσεις ήταν στο έργο "Ο θάνατος του εμποράκου" του Αρθουρ Μίλερ (2008-2010), "Οι νταντάδες" του Γιωργου Σκούρτη ενώ το περασμένο καλοκαίρι ανέβασε τις "Νεφέλες".
H κηδεία του θα γίνει τη Δευτέρα (9/7) στις 11.30 το πρωι απο το νεκροταφείο της Παιανίας.
Το τουρνουά Grand Slam beach volley στην ΕΤ3
Τους τελικούς ανδρών και γυναικών του τουρνουά Grand Slam του πανελλήνιου πρωταθλήματος beach volley που διοργανώνεται στη Θεσσαλονίκη, στην πλατεία Αριστοτέλους, θα μεταδώσει η ΕΤ3 σε απευθείας σύνδεση την Κυριακή, 1 Ιουλίου 2012, από τις 18:00 έως τις 20:00.
Στη διοργάνωση συμμετέχουν κορυφαίοι αθλητές, προσφέροντας θέαμα υψηλών προδιαγραφών.

Το ολοκαίνουριο hit της τουρκάλας Ziynet Salι ειναι διασκευή της επιτυχίας της Έλενας Παπαρίζου ''Mambo''. Η μουσική παρέμεινε απαράλλαχτη, η γλώσσα άλλαξε και μας ξενίζει... ωστόσο στη γείτονα χώρα αποτελεί No1 στις προτιμήσεις. Τιτλοφορείται ''Favori Aşkım''.
Επόμενη περίπτωση και πάλι άρτι αφιχθείσα από την Τουρκία. Το ''Kanım Akmaz'', το κομμάτι της επίσης πολύ γνωστής στη χώρα της τραγουδίστριας Aşkın Nur Yengi αποτελεί πιστό αντίγραφο του ''Φαντάρου'' της Χαρούλας Αλεξίου μόνο που είναι ερμηνευμενο σε διαφορετική γλώσσα.
Τρίτη στάση στην ίδια χώρα για το κομμάτι ''Στόχος'' της Καίτης Γαρμπή. Το κομμάτι διασκευάστηκε στα τουρκικά από την Gülşen και απέκτησε νέο τίτλο ''Of Of''. Μια ακόμη διασκευή ελληνικού κομματιού που κέντρισε το ενδιαφέρον των τούρκων ακροατών αν και μας έρχεται από το 2007
Τρεις αξιοπρόσεκτες διασκευές ξένων κομματιών στα ελληνικά. O Jacques Brel ερμήνευσε μοναδικά το ρομαντικό ''Ne me quitte pas''. Το τραγούδι ερμηνευθηκε σε δυο εκδοχές από ελληνικά χείλη, η μια με τίτλο ''Μη μ' αφήνεις μη'' του Γιάννη Πάριου και η άλλη με τίτλο ''Πες μου πως μπορείς'' από τη Βίκυ Λέανδρος.
Το αγαπημένο ''Listen to your heart'' των The Roxette αποφάσισε να τραγουδήσει με ελληνικό στίχο η Σοφία Βόσσου, προσπαθώντας να επαναλάβει την επιτυχία του κομματιού. Ο ελληνικός του τίτλος είναι ''Άκου την καρδιά''.
Η συνθεση ''Into my Arms'' του Nick Cave μεταφερθηκε στα ελληνικά από τον Διονύση Σαββόπουλο. Το ''Άδεια μου αγκαλιά'' συνόδευε, συνοδεύει και θα συνοδεύει όλους όσους νιώθουν μόνοι.
Ο Πασχάλης έχει δημιουργήσει μερικές από τις μεγαλύτερες επιτυχίες των 80s. Μια από αυτές ονομάζεται ''Τζοάννα Σ' αγαπώ'' και δεν πρόκειται για άλλο κομμάτι από το ''Gimme Hope Joanna'' του Eddy Grant.

TOMMY LEE IS GREEK AND HAS GREEK PRIDE

Tommy Lee released a manifesto full of Greek pride describing the reasons he is a proud Greek on his facebook page.
Although Greek pride might have been hurt by the Greek crisis, and international media are describing Greeks as “lazy,” “irresponsible,” and the “trouble child of Europe” among many more worse accusations, Tommy Lee, released a statement full of Greek Pride on his Facebook page !!!
The founding member of glam metal band Mötley Crüe was born in Athens the son of David Oliver Bass, a US Army serviceman of Welsh descent, and Vassiliki Papadimitriou, a 1957 Miss Greece contestant. Although, his family moved to West Covina, California one year after his birth, Tommy does not forget his homeland.
We are used to seeing celebrities post statements of support that may be written from PR professionals, but Tommy’s statement could not be written by a non-Greek and it does not look like a PR stunt. Thank you Tommy for being a proud Greek even during these tough times! See his message below:

Ο ΠΙΟ ΠΑΛΙΟΣ ΚΡΑΤΗΡΑΣ ΤΗΣ ΓΗΣ
Ένας κρατήρας διαμέτρου 100 χιλιομέτρων, ο οποίος βρέθηκε στην περιοχή Μάνιτσοκ της Δυτικής Γροιλανδίας, είναι το αποτέλεσμα μιας πρόσκρουσης αστεροειδή ή κομήτη που συνέβη ένα δισεκατομμύριο χρόνια πριν από οποιαδήποτε άλλη γνωστή πρόσκρουση στη Γη.
Ο κρατήρας που περιγράφει διεθνής ομάδα ερευνητών στην επιθεώρηση Earth and Planetary Science Letters χρονολογήθηκε στα τρία δισεκατομμύρια χρόνια, όταν οι νεογέννητοι πλανήτες βομβαρδίζονταν ανηλεώς από τα υλικά που είχαν περισσέψει κατά το σχηματισμό του Ηλιακού Συστήματος.
Οι περισσότεροι από τους μεγάλους κρατήρες που βλέπουμε σήμερα στη Σελήνη δημιουργήθηκαν πριν από τρία έως τέσσερα δισεκατομμύρια χρόνια. Η Γη, η οποία έχει μεγαλύτερη μάζα, και πιο ισχυρό βαρυτικό πεδίο, πρέπει να είχε υποστεί ακόμα περισσότερες προσκρούσεις από τον δορυφόρο της.
Δεδομένου όμως ότι ο φλοιός της Γης συνεχώς αλλάζει, και τα αρχαία πετρώματα αντικαθίστανται από νέα, σχεδόν όλες οι ενδείξεις αυτού του βομβαρδισμού έχουν πια εξαφανιστεί.
Μέχρι σήμερα, ο αρχαιότερος γνωστός κρατήρας ήταν ο κρατήρας Βρέντεφορντ στη Νότιο Αφρική , ο οποίος έχει διάμετρο 300 χιλιόμετρα και χρονολογείται στα δύο δισ. χρόνια. Δύσκολα όμως διακρίνεται, αφού έχει πλέον διαβρωθεί σχεδόν τελείως.
Το ίδιο συνέβη και στον κρατήρα του Μάνιτσοκ στη Γροιλανδία. Η λεκάνη που σχηματίστηκε από την πρόσκρουση έχει πλέον διαβρωθεί, αποκαλύπτοντας τον βαθύτερο φλοιό που βρισκόταν τότε 25 χιλιόμετρα κάτω από την επιφάνεια του εδάφους. Όμως το σοκ της πρόσκρουσης διείσδυσε βαθιά μέσα στον φλοιό, δημιουργώντας αλλοιώσεις που διατηρούνται μέχρι και σήμερα.
Δεδομένου όμως ότι οι επιδράσεις των προσκρούσεων δεν είχαν μελετηθεί μέχρι σήμερα σε τέτοιο βάθος, η ερευνητική ομάδα από τη Δανία, τη Βρετανία, τη Σουηδία και τη Ρωσία χρειάστηκε τρία χρόνια για να συγκεντρώσει επαρκείς ενδείξεις.
«Αποκλείσαμε κάθε άλλο ενδεχόμενο που αφορά συμβατικές γεωλογικές διαδικασίες, και η μόνη εξήγηση που έμεινε ήταν ότι πρόκειται για κρατήρα πρόσκρουσης» αναφέρει ο Ίαν ΜακΝτόναλντ του Πανεπιστημίου του Κάρντιφ στη Βρετανία, μέλος της ερευνητικής ομάδας.
Οι ερευνητές επισημαίνουν ότι, από τους 180 κρατήρες πρόσκρουσης που έχουν ανακαλυφθεί στη Γη μέχρι σήμερα, το 30% περιέχει σημαντικά αποθέματα ορυκτών, πετρελαίου ή φυσικού αερίου.
«Μας πήρε τρία χρόνια για να πείσουμε την επιστημονική κοινότητα [ότι πρόκειται για κρατήρα], ωστόσο η μεταλλευτική βιομηχανία ήταν πολύ πιο δεκτική» σχολιάζει ο Δρ ΜακΝτόναλντ.
«Μια καναδική εταιρεία γεωλογικών ερευνών χρησιμοποιεί από το 2011 το μοντέλο της πρόσκρουσης για να αναζητήσει αποθέσεις νικελίου και πλατίνας στο Μάνιτσοκ» επισημαίνει.
Ο κρατήρας που περιγράφει διεθνής ομάδα ερευνητών στην επιθεώρηση Earth and Planetary Science Letters χρονολογήθηκε στα τρία δισεκατομμύρια χρόνια, όταν οι νεογέννητοι πλανήτες βομβαρδίζονταν ανηλεώς από τα υλικά που είχαν περισσέψει κατά το σχηματισμό του Ηλιακού Συστήματος.
Οι περισσότεροι από τους μεγάλους κρατήρες που βλέπουμε σήμερα στη Σελήνη δημιουργήθηκαν πριν από τρία έως τέσσερα δισεκατομμύρια χρόνια. Η Γη, η οποία έχει μεγαλύτερη μάζα, και πιο ισχυρό βαρυτικό πεδίο, πρέπει να είχε υποστεί ακόμα περισσότερες προσκρούσεις από τον δορυφόρο της.
Δεδομένου όμως ότι ο φλοιός της Γης συνεχώς αλλάζει, και τα αρχαία πετρώματα αντικαθίστανται από νέα, σχεδόν όλες οι ενδείξεις αυτού του βομβαρδισμού έχουν πια εξαφανιστεί.

Όταν ένα λεπτό διαρκεί 61 δευτερόλεπτα
Περίπου κάθε ένα με δύο χρόνια, ένα εμβόλιμο δευτερόλεπτο προστίθεται στον επίσημο παγκόσμιο συγχρονισμένο χρόνο (UTC). Από το 1972, όταν και ξεκίνησε η εισαγωγή αυτών των εμβόλιμων δευτερολέπτων, έως σήμερα έχουν προστεθεί συνολικά 24 τέτοια δευτερόλεπτα. Προστίθενται κατά το τελευταίο λεπτό της τελευταίας μέρας του Ioυνίου ή του Δεκεμβρίου ενός έτους, και μεταξύ των δευτερολέπτων 23:59:59 και 00:00:00 παρεμβάλλεται το εμβόλιμο δευτερόλεπτο 23:59:60.
Αυτού του είδους οι παρεμβάσεις γίνονται προκειμένου να συγχρονίσουν το χρόνο που κάνει πραγματικά η Γη, για να κάνει μια πλήρη περιστροφή γύρω από τον άξονά της, με το χτύπο 86.400 δευτερολέπτων που έχουμε ορίσει εμείς ως τη διάρκεια μίας ημέρας. Συγχρονίζουμε έτσι τα ρολόγια μας που έχουν σταθερό κτύπο, με την περιστροφή της Γης την οποία επηρεάζουν εξωτερικοί παράγοντες, όπως η βαρύτητα του Ήλιου ή της Σελήνης.
Ο χρόνος στη Γη μετράται με ατομικά ρολόγια, τα οποία είναι εξαιρετικά πιο ακριβή από τον αστρονομικό χρόνο της περιφοράς ή περιστροφής των ουράνιων σωμάτων. Για τη μέτρηση του διεθνούς ατομικού χρόνου (TAI) συνεργάζονται εκατοντάδες τέτοια ρολόγια διάσπαρτα σε όλο τον κόσμο, τα οποία μετράνε τις διασπάσεις του χημικού στοιχείου καισίου, με ακρίβεια ενός δεκάτου του δισεκατομμυριοστού του δευτερολέπτου. Με τέτοια ακρίβεια, τα ατομικά ρολόγια «χάνουν» μόνο ένα δευτερόλεπτο κάθε 300 εκατομμύρια χρόνια. Η περιστροφή της Γης όμως γύρω από τον άξονά της, επηρεάζεται από ένα πλήθος εξωτερικών παραγόντων συν το γεγονός πως η ταχύτητα περιστροφής της μειώνεται με το χρόνο, αν και με εξαιρετικά αργό ρυθμό.
Όποτε παρατηρείται διαφορά μεταξύ του παγκόσμιου χρόνου UTC και του ατομικού χρόνου TAI, o διεθνής οργανισμός που παρατηρεί την περιστροφή της Γης IERS, αποφασίζει την εισαγωγή εμβόλιμων δευτερολέπτων. Σε αυτές τις αποφάσεις υπάρχει και ο αντίλογος, με πολλούς επιστήμονες να κατακρίνουν τα εμβόλιμα δευτερόλεπτα, εξαιτίας των συνεπειών που μπορεί να έχουν σε υπολογιστικά συστήματα, δορυφόρους κ.ά. Για το λόγο αυτό μάλιστα, ποτέ δεν ορίζεται κάποια εκτόξευση δορυφόρου σε μέρα εισαγωγής εμβόλιμου δευτερόλεπτου. Η διαφωνία έχει συζητηθεί σε βάθος σε 3 διαδοχικά συνέδρια το 2003, το 2005 και το 2012, με το εμβόλιμο δευτερόλεπτο προς το παρόν να συνεχίζει να υφίσταται. Μια νέα ψηφοφορία, ίσως η τελική, θα λάβει χώρα το 2015.
Η μεγάλη πλειονότητα των 7 δισεκατομμυρίων κατοίκων του πλανήτη είναι σίγουρο πως θα παραμείνει αδιάφορη στο γεγονός, πέρα από μερικούς που ίσως βρουν αξιοσημείωτο το γεγονός πως θα ζήσουν ένα δευτερόλεπτο παραπάνω.

Jagger and Richards were both released and granted bail of £7,000 the following day.
